# How to Create an Audio Message

## Upload your own audio or generate a message with AI, then add it to a Campaign so it can play.

Creating the message is the first step. A message will not play until it is added to a **Campaign**.

1. Click **Messages** in the left menu.
2. Click **New Message**.
3. Choose whether you want to **upload an audio file** or generate a message with **AI**.
4. If you use AI, choose a voice and enter the script you want the voice to read.
5. Create the message. It will be saved in your **Messages Library**.
6. Open the **Campaigns** tab and create a Campaign to control where, when, and how often the message plays.
