# How to Create and Use a Schedule

## Build a Schedule so different playlists play at different times and assign it to the devices you choose.

Schedules let you control **what plays, when it plays, and where it plays**.

Before creating a Schedule, make sure the playlists you want to use already exist.

### Create a Schedule

1. Click **Schedules** in the left navigation.
2. Create a new Schedule and give it a clear name.
3. Select a playlist or drag it onto the calendar.
4. Set the days and times when that playlist should play.
5. Add more playlists and time blocks if you want the music to change throughout the day.
6. Search for and select the devices that should use the Schedule.
7. Click **Save**.

A device can use either one Playlist or one Schedule, not both at the same time.

If you want music to stop at a certain time, simply end the final playlist block at that time.
