# How to Preview Music Styles in Control

## You can preview Styles before adding them to a Control playlist.

### Preview Styles in an existing Control playlist

1. Click **Playlists** in the left navigation.
2. Select the **Control Playlists** tab.
3. Open the playlist you want to edit.
4. Click the **three dots** in the top-right corner.
5. Select **Edit Playlist Details**.
6. Click **Add Style**. 
     - A Control playlist can include up to **4 Styles**.
     - If you already have 4 Styles, remove one before adding another.
7. On the **Select Your Styles** page, browse categories such as: 
     - Popular
     - Holiday
     - Upbeat
     - Soft Side
     - Instrumental
     - Assorted
8. Each Style includes a name and description.
9. Click the **Play** button in the bottom-right corner of a Style to hear a sample.
10. Click **Add Style** in the top-right corner of the Style when you want to add it to your playlist.
11. Continue adding, removing, or previewing Styles until you have the mix you want.

### Preview Styles while creating a new playlist

1. Click **Playlists**.
2. Select **Control Playlists**.
3. Click **New Playlist**.
4. Choose **Select Styles to Blend**.
5. Browse the available Styles and click **Play** to sample them before adding them.

When creating a new Control playlist, you can also choose to:

- **Select Songs** and build the playlist from individual tracks.
- Use **AI Recommended** to create a playlist based on the business preferences you selected, including your business category, business type, and mood.

You can also **import from Spotify** when using either **Select Your Styles** or **Select Your Songs**.
