# How to Remove a Song from a Playlist

## Remove a song from one Control playlist, or use History to remove it from one or all playlists you manage.

If you use **Control**, there are two easy ways to remove a song.

### Option 1: Remove it from the playlist

1. Click **Playlists**.
2. Open the playlist.
3. Find the song you want to remove.
4. Click the **trash icon** on the right side of the song.

Use the **All Songs** dropdown if you want to filter between **Style Songs**, **Added Songs**, and **Removed Songs**.

### Option 2: Remove it from History

1. Click **History** in the left menu.
2. Filter by device or location if needed.
3. Find the song and choose **Remove Track**.
4. Choose **Remove from Current Playlist** or **Remove from All Playlists**.

**Be careful with Remove from All Playlists.** It removes the song from every playlist you manage and cannot be undone in bulk.

Core playlists are prebuilt and cannot be edited song by song.
