How to Change Music with Core Playlists

Assign a Core playlist or Schedule to a device from the Locations section of the Custom Channels App.

Channels are no longer used in the Custom Channels App. Core music is now assigned to devices as playlists.

Change the music on a device

  1. Click Locations in the left menu.
  2. Open the Devices tab.
  3. Find the device you want to update and click its settings icon.
  4. Open Playlist Management.
  5. Choose Assign Playlist or Assign Schedule.
  6. Select the Core playlist or Schedule you want the device to use.

A device can use a single Playlist or a Schedule, not both at the same time.

Core playlists are ready-to-use playlists. You can assign and schedule them, but you do not edit the individual songs inside them.
